House Mouse Challenge and A Spoon Full of Sugar Challenge...Two Birds with One Stone!
I am so glad this card is finally finished! The funny thing is the hard part wasn't cutting the tiny mouse and the candle out OR even coloring them in...it was the rest of the card that took me THREE days to figure out. I tried so many different things but nothing seemed to look like it did in my head!
Here are better views of the paper piecing I did with the tiny mouse and the candle. The candle is popped up and then the mouse is popped up even a bit higher to give it more dimension.
Finally, this is a view of the bookmark that I made. You can see the tab in the first photo sticking up above in the green section.

Beautiful. I love the layers, and the little bookmark was a sweet surprise. Very nicely done. We all have cards like that, that don't really come out the way we were thinking. Your persistence shows in your great work though. Congrats! :) Kel

Great card! Just love those HMstamps! The card turned out great! Hope you're not like me (after hours or even days of trying to figure out what colours or papers to choose, I always end up with my first choice!) So tiring, lol!
This is definately one of my favorites! Sure would look good hanging above my doorway at Christmas time! It would certainly blow away those store-bought cards!
The paper peicing is wonderful....how time consuming.
You make me want to get in my scrapbooking room and get creative! I have "Card-blockers" right now! :(
