This challenge was to add sparkle or bling. I think I accomplished the sparkle requirement! This card is simple yet elegant and looks much better in real life! Thanks for looking!
Scraplifted these from cookiebaker on SplitCoastStampers. When I saw them I thought they were just so cute and the mission was on! I can't wait to give them to my friends four-year-old for his preschool Halloween party. Thanks cookiebaker for sharing your cute little spiders!

Carmen from CarmensCreativeChatter sent me my first Blog Award! How exciting to know that someone out there in the world thinks that I'm INSPIRATIONAL! Thanks Carmen!
I'm suppose to pass this award on to six other bloggers that inspire me. At the moment, I'm getting ready for a crop so please keep your eye open for my six choices later on this weekend.
Anything BUT a Card Challenge! I am in a SWAP with my Yahoo Group, Scrappin' In Toledo, and we're making a 12 month calendar. Eachparticipant of the SWAP is responsible for doing three 8x8 layouts for different months. My months are April, Julyand December. This is what I've come up with so far for my July layout. Not sure if this is the finished product or if I'll change my mind before it's due
You can see April's layout on my October 8th blog post!
I love making cards and having them around! You never know what occasion could sneak up and catch you off guard! Sometimes I need a card out of the blue...just because. So, here is a card set that I made to have on hand for those "just because" moments. Thanks for looking!
CONGRATULATIONS! Bumblebee Creations, could you please e-mail me at skraptaculardesigns@yahoo.com with your address so I can get your prize in the mail to you?
Thanks to everyone who took the time to come to my blog and entered to win my blog candy for my 1,000 HITS! I really appreciate it and hope that you'll come back often. You never know what you just might find!
I think that this was absolutely one of my favorite sketches ever! I'll definitely be using this for more of my cards in the future! Thanks for the challenge!
This is my very first Tilda & Co Challenge! I absolutely loved this sketch! After looking at this card in the photos I have come up with a couple of other ideas that I think I would like to add. We'll see...
Thanks for looking! Hope you come back to visit me soon!
Hugs, Priscilla
Below is the way it originally looked. Still not happy with the final results but, it'll have to do for now. I'll keep thinking...
Hmmm...I'm not exactly sure what my thoughts are on this card. I love the color combination and I even like how the coloring turned out on the image BUT, I'm just not so sure about the rest of the card. It seems as if it still needs something. What do you think?
I can't believe it's been less than a month and I've already had 1,000 HITS on my blog! I am so excited! Thanks everyone for taking the time to stop by to visit me and an extra special thanks to everyone that leaves me a comment! I love hearing what you all have to say and knowing that maybe I've been a little inspirational during your visit! Please come back often and feel free to just say, "Hello." I'd love to hear from you!
To be entered to win this blog candy I have up for grabs all you have to do is
1. Post a comment on your blog linking back to this blog candy
2. Leave me a comment on this post answering these questions: "What could I do to make you want to come back and visit my blog more often?" "Is there something you'd like to see posted on my blog?" and "How often would you like to see me post new stuff to my blog?"
Hopefully, by answering those questions I'll be able to make my blog something that tons and tons of people will want to flock to each day! That's my goal...I would like to turn my blog into a "Highway of Inspiration!"
Please check back on October 15, 2008 to see if you are the winner! Here are some of the items included in this blog candy: House Mouse stamped images, Sarah Kay stamped images, Sugar Nellie stamped images, Prima flowers, ribbon, brads, stickers, chipboard embellishments, etc... I'm sure I'll find more goodies to add between now and when the winner is announced!
Thanks again everyone for helping me reach my first 1,000 HITS! Good Luck!
I'm in a SWAP where each participant has to make an 8x8 layout for a calendar. The month I chose is April. I didn't really want to do an Easter layout for a couple of reasons...1. I don't have any stamps large enough that would look right on such a large page 2. I tried coloring an image of a rabbit lying in a bed of flowers and let me tell you...it looked absolutely RIDICULOUS! 3. It's not a guarantee that the person receiving the calendar will use it next year and what if Easter isn't in April during the year they decide to use it for? AND... 4. I just wasn't feelin' it! So...after sitting here for a couple of hours looking at my stamps and supplies here's what I finally came up with...
Well, I know it doesn't follow the sketch perfectly but I thought it was a great idea to make a moon out of the round shape that was in the sketch! I think it worked out pretty well. Thanks for taking a peek!
Skraptacular Designs was created to share my love of cardmaking, scrapbooking and stamping with everyone who is interested! It is my dream to turn this blog into a world of INSPIRATION!
I am a mother to a wonderful teenage daughter and have been in a committed relationship for almost 17 years. I'm not sure why we haven't gotten married yet...just hasn't ever been at the top of our "to do" list. Maybe someday!
A few years ago, somehow I learned about stamping and scrapbooking. Soon after, I became a "COLLECTOR" of supplies. Then, I became addicted and now, from what I've been told, it's official, I'm a PAPER FABRICATOR.
