Make 'n Take

I'm in a scrapbooking/stamping group and designed this Make 'n Take for us to do. It was a big HIT...I'm not sure what everyone liked more...the homemade candy or the project itself! LOL

Anyways, it was really fun being able to show everyone the crayon resist technique that I learned a while ago at a stamp convention I went to. You should try it...it's super easy and creates a stunning effect!

Penny Black Saturday Challenge: Frame It!

I am having so much fun being able to participate in blog challenges again! This is a card I made for the Penny Black Challenge. Don't you just love Penny Black? I know I sure do...and am completely addicted! Seems like I just can't get enough of these cute little hedgehog stamps, especially now that I have Copics and my coloring isn't so horrible.

House Mouse Challenge #22

I am so excited to be joining in on all the fun challenge blogs again! I sure do hope that life will stop getting in the way and prohibiting me from my fun! Polished Stone Technique

Before Christmas I was trying to teach a friend how to do the polished stone technique on ceramic tile coasters. Instead of using coasters, I used glossy paper to show her the technique. Well, I decided to use my examples as backgrounds and then came up with this card design. I liked it so much I decided to make a few changes and create a variety of cards. Here are three of the designs I came up with.

I am so sorry that I've been away for so long...Unfortunately, the chaos of life seems to have gotten the best of me over these last couple of months but hopefully I can get back on track and start blogging regularly again!
